A dimensioned drawing (PDF) or a 3D file (STEP preferred), the material grade, the quantity — distinguishing immediate batch from recurring need — and your target lead time. The more precise the file, the faster and more comparable the quotes. Without a drawing, a clear description of the part and its function is enough to start.
